Ella’s Celebration Cheese Cake
Ella’s celebration cheese cake has approx 2.9kg of cheese and will feed approx 35-40 people
The base layer is approx 7″ diameter
Base/1st tier: Creamy Wensleydale approx 1.4kg – Real Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese – creamy, crumbly and full of flavour. Lovingly hand-crafted in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales
2nd tier: Godminster Vintage Cheddar, 1kg – Godminster Organic Vintage Cheddar is a seriously strong & delicious, ultra creamy vintage organic cheddar in a distinctive burgunday wax. A great full strong flavour with a lovely creamy consistency. The cheese can be sliced or scooped!
3rd tier: Baby Waterloo, approx 380g – This unpasteurised cheese has a rich and distinctive yellow interior which is from the natural carotene in the Guernsey milk they use. It is a rich, slightly salty buttery semi-soft cheese. The interior has an oozing texture under the rind with a slightly firmer consistency in the centre.
Top tier: Dorstone – Individual fresh goats milk cheese covered in ash with a beautiful wrinkled rind. A lovely creamy texture with zesty notes
Supplied with small amount of burgandy raffia and two cute clay mice
The cheeses will come individually wrapped for you to pop in your fridge, ready to unwrap and assemble on the day. Leave out for 1-2 hours to come up to room temperature before eating
