The same ingredients and traditional handmade methods are still being used since 1912 on the Montgomery farm. The Cheddars are bound in muslin bandages and left to mature for over 12 months. They are still also one of the very few farms using unpasteurised milk which gives this cheddar its unique taste as only the best cheddars should!
Devon Blue (200g)
Devon Blue is an excellent cows milk cheese made in Totnes. Wrapped in foil after a few weeks and left to mature for 6 – 8 months. It develops into a buttery rich cheese, moist and crumbly with a slightly sweet edge.
Sharpham Brie (200g)
A soft, surface-ripened cheese made using unpasteurised Jersey cow’s milk. When ripe it oozes it’s creamy, rich buttery interior everywhere. It’s delectably rich, smooth and creamy with a full flavour when mature
Morn Dew (200g)
White Lake Cheeses at Bagborough Farm in Somerset is right in the heart of the cattle-farming and Cheddar producing mainland of north Somerset, but they are no ordinary cheese producer. The majority of cheese that White Lake make is from goat’s milk and they produce over 10 types of superb artisan cheeses. This is one of their cows milk washed rind cheeses, the washing process affects the texture, slightly soft and sticky on the rind, with a soft and springy interior and delicate fruity taste.
