Beenleigh blue is just one of the three superb blue cheeses made by Ticklemore Cheese in South Devon.  It is one of only a small number of blue cheeses made in Britain today

Beenleigh Blue has been likened to Roquefort although much less salty.  It has a moist, crumbly texture with a superb rich, sweet, tangy taste. Matured for around 6 months and is best from early summer, when it has a lovely freshness to it.

Beenleigh Blue is great on a cheeseboard, but also crumbles well for a salad and makes fabulous sauces too.  A very versatile and must try cheese.
